Requirement
Car enthusiasts shared content across generic social platforms that weren't built for their community. Posts get lost in general feeds, discovery becomes random rather than interest-based, and there was no rating or review layer for the vehicles and builds being shared. 'Daily Driver' needed a photo-posting flow optimised for car photography, a location layer so users could share where they were - a car meet, a track day, a scenic route and a review - rating system that let the community evaluate and discuss specific vehicles and builds.
Solution
We built 'Daily Driver' as a native Android social app with car content at the centre. Users create a profile, post photos of their vehicles, tag their location on a map, and share to a community feed. Other users can like, comment, and leave reviews. The map layer turns the app into a location-aware community tool for finding car meets and events nearby.
