Requirement
Coffee brands operating across retail and wholesale face a split audience problem. Retail customers want loyalty perks and an engaging brand experience. Wholesale buyers want a clean product catalogue and a practical ordering tool. Running two separate apps or two separate portals was inefficient. The client wanted one mobile app that served both.
The loyalty programme needed to track points, reward repeat purchases, and push relevant offers to retail customers. The wholesale side needed a product display for supply materials with enough detail for buyers to place informed orders. And the built-in timer - for brewing, preparation, or production workflows - was a practical tool that added daily utility beyond pure commerce.
Solution
We built Silipo Coffee as a native iOS app with 2 distinct user experiences sharing a common product and brand foundation. Retail customers access the loyalty programme, track their points, and receive push notifications for offers and rewards. Wholesale buyers access the supply catalogue, browse materials, and manage their orders. Both audiences see the product display layer.
- Loyalty programme with points earning and reward tracking for retail customers
- Push notifications for offers, rewards, and new product announcements
- Wholesale product display and supply materials catalogue
- Product ordering for wholesale buyers
- Built-in timer for brewing and preparation workflows
- Brand-consistent UI for both retail and wholesale user journeys
Final Outcome
Silipo Coffee gained a single mobile app that served both sides of their business. Retail customers had a loyalty experience that kept them engaged between purchases and gave them a reason to return. Wholesale buyers had a clean product catalogue and ordering tool they could access from anywhere. The brewing timer added a layer of daily utility that kept the app open even outside of ordering and rewards activity - turning it from a transactional app into a regular part of the coffee workflow for both audiences.
